1. Connecta3"elbowdirectlyonthe

intake vent collar of the water heater.

2. Connecta3"coupling directly on the

exhaust vent collar of the water heater.

Make sure the couplings engage

the o-rings installed in the intake

and exhaust vent collars

3. Connecta3"straightpipeto

the coupling.
